Wisconsin Chapter of the Walnut Council

The Wisconsin Chapter of the Walnut Council supports the goal of increasing the production of high quality eastern black walnut (Juglans nigra) and other fine hardwood trees by providing information to its members to encourage good management of forest trees. The nearly 150 Wisconsin Chapter members include landowners, foresters, scientists, academics, wood-industry workers, and consumers of wood products. Events organized and sponsored by the Wisconsin Walnut Council provide members with the most up-to-date techniques and research results on how to plant, manage, and harvest walnut and other fine quality hardwood trees. Field trips, seminars, and other events encourage continuing interaction between woodland owners, scientists, managers and industry.
