Spring 2007 Field Day June 2, 2007

Sponsored by the Wisconsin Walnut Council, Wisconsin Council on Invasive Species, Wisconsin Environmental Education Board, and Invasive Plants Association of Wisconsin

The field had both a classroom session in the morning held at the Legion Hall in Barneveld and a Field Session held at the Manhart Farm near Barneveld. Approximately 65 people attended the event, with many questions and lots of information to share.

The workshop focused mainly on invasive plants that hamper the sustainability of our forests in Southwest Wisconsin. Other topic included Gypsy Moth, Emerald Ash Borer and other forest invasive species. There was also a climbing demonstration done for everyone's enjoyment.
