Call to Order: Dan Bohlin called the meeting to order

Secretary's Report: The report was handed out and accepted as written

Treasurer's Report: The report was submitted, but had the incorrect date. The updated report was sent out via email to board members. Correct current balance $3895.63. See attached treasurers report.

Committee Reports:

Tree and Nut Improvement: Nothing to report

Website: Alan gave a brief website update

Exhibit: The display was used at the Farm Progress Days at the Amana Colonies in Iowa. The display is housed in Dodgeville. Contact John Nielsen, Jason Sable, or Bill Carlson if needed.

Membership: Dan Bohlin updated the members. There are currently 157 active members. Missouri passed Wisconsin when it added 38 new members. All members are encouraged to talk with other woodland owners about joining.

Public Relations: Ingrid Olson noted that there were two Walnut Council Representatives that attended the Farm Progress Days in the Amana Colonies. Ingrid thanked the door prize providers Alan Kelling (Purdure #1's) and Dale Parker (Alaskan knife).

Old Business: There was no old business to report or discuss.

New Business: Treasurer John Ouellette's and President Dan Bohlin's board terms will expire at the end of the year. John will be seeking another term.

The election of the two new board members will take place in November. Hopefully at least 3 people will agree to run. They will need to provide biographies to be included in the information with the voting ballot.

The new board members will meet in Madison on January 9 to elect new officers and set 2007 calender.

The 2007 National Walnut Council Meeting will be held in Dubuque, Iowa in July.
